Works ok for SAS 6.12 TS020 on WinNT. Sunday = 1 -> Friday = 6. I got following results with day = weekday(date);

OBS DATE DAY 25 25JAN98 1 26 26JAN98 2 27 27JAN98 3 28 28JAN98 4 29 29JAN98 5 30 30JAN98 6 (friday, according to my calendar) 31 31JAN98 7 saturday 32 01FEB98 1 sunday 33 02FEB98 2 monday 34 03FEB98 3 (today is Tuesday, right?) 35 04FEB98 4 36 05FEB98 5 37 06FEB98 6 38 07FEB98 7 39 08FEB98 1 40 09FEB98 2 41 10FEB98 3 42 11FEB98 4 43 12FEB98 5 44 13FEB98 6 45 14FEB98 7 46 15FEB98 1
