Hi folks -
I read a short news article in the last InfoWorld that indicated that
SAS 7 would provide "thin-client interfaces" that will be based on Java
and ActiveX components. Full text of the article at
http://www.infoworld.com/cgi-bin/displayStory.pl?980220.whsas.htm. A
quick check of the SAS web site turned up nothing similar.
Sounds to me like I will be able to (for example) write a Java program,
accessing components of SAS. Does anybody have the "correct"
interpretation? Or want to hazard a wild guess? :)
