Subject:   SUGI 23 - Futures Forum question
Content-Type:   TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII

I got to the futures forum late, so did not see the list of operating systems the (initial?) release of V 7 would be for. Did anyone note them? I will assume MVS, UNIX (RS6K, Sun, HP), Windows. I assume a number of others, but then, I would have thought the Mac would be included. I had also thought there would be some opening for Linux (I asked the question about it).

Which brings up the second part of this - I really think Linux has passed the "hacker os" stage, but the Institute seems to persist in that view. Well, that last isn't a question; anyway, anyone recall the operating systems? Thanks, -- Joe
