See if you are licensed to use SAS/CONNECT. We have been using it for about
a year now, to download about 4 GB/day from MVS to a LAN. It is great. It
is simple. It is one step (PROC DOWNLOAD) vs. the many steps needed the old
fashioned way. ie. 1) Create binary transport file 2) FTP 3) Convertion
back to SAS.
