If anyone has any insight on this, I would greatly appreciate it.
Everything that I have read indicates that the mac version of spss
6.1 will not run on OS 8.  However we have it installed on a Mac
running system 8.1 and it seems to work.  My questions are:
 
What were the specific problems with 6.1 on OS 8?  From the last
issue of Keywords it sounded as if the program wouldn't install at all.
Any specifics that I could pass along to our computer tech would
be helpful.
 
Does OS 8.1 have enhancements that allow SPSS to run?
 
Is there a URL that gives detailed info on the problems?
 
I apologize if I am rehashing old news here.  Thanks in advance.
