First, which version of Prelis are you using? Check to see if the version
works
with spss-systemfile (which version) and Lisrel 8.1
Two, your syntax presupposes that all variables are numerical.
Three: where you have "matrix=out(file)"
 (file) should be replaced by (filename) e.g. (cov.dat).
Four, type subcommand :better put it before matrix-subcommand. Greetings,
