NESUG'98, October 5-7, in Pittsburgh, PA ==============================

SAS Institute has informed us this week that there was an unfortunate delay in mailing out the NESUG '98 registration packets. This has been cleared up, and they are being mailed out later this week.

Those people who attended NESUG in the past two years should be getting theirs via first class. Those people who have not attended NESUG or have not attended in the past two years are getting theirs mailed via third class, which may take up to 2 weeks.

SAS Institute is sending a special postcard on July 7 to everyone on the mailing list to announce that the registration packets are indeed on their way. The conference hot-line phone number, the registration information phone number, the early registration deadline, the early registration fee of $175, and the Web page address are all on the postcard. Key information from the NESUG '98 registration packet should be posted on the NESUG '98 Web pages by the end of the week. Registration via the Web page should be available sometime the following week.
