Hi How could one obtain or compute confidence interval for kappa coefficient using SPSS or any other statistical tool? I have two independant raters and the tables are squared. The SPSS macro for calculting kappa from non square d tables provided by Nicholls provide this confidence region. Could one use it for squared tables as well? Related to this first question, how should one apply the Bonferronni correction technique to the computation of the confidence interval for kappa? Any ref. greatly appreciated?

Thanks in advance Valentin -- Valentin Mbekou Departement de Psychologie Universite de Montreal mbekou@ere.umontreal.ca
