Look, before this goes any further, the policies of Ms Hanson are not those of everyone. She is not the Prime Minister of Australia and is simply one voice in a democracy that promotes free speech for all. That includes those opinions we may find personally offensive.

In any case, the advertisement posted was for a professional appointment. A professional environment is what you as an employee have a right to expect and if you don't find that then you have certain opportunities under the law. So without knowing the company, (and I don't know it either) it is entirely wrong to make such a statement.

I joined this list for a professional exchange of views. I don't care to discuss politics on this list, but nor do I care to have my chosen country of residence vilified by ill considered remarks.

I will not respond to any other discussion raised on the list on this subject on the list and I ask that this thread stop now before any real damage is done. That includes agreement, disagreement and fence sitting.

Can we please please please PLEASE get back to an exchange of opinions and experience on SAS related matters.

Thankyou

David

Have you thought for 24 years? Do you think the public racist remarks normal? Maybe you got used to it because of a lack of comparison, say, with the North America.
