new building, informal environment, competitive salary, great benefits.
Please email resumes directly to me. Thanks,

SAS/SQL: Senior Programmer/Junior Project Lead
Job Summary:
This position is pitched at the level of a proven programmer who has already
begun to make the transition into part-time project management. The
candidate would work as part of a team of developers whose mandate is to
build processes to develop and maintain databases of global quantitative
finance data. You will be hired initially to manage two six-month projects
contemporaneously on a legacy system, which will require you to hire a
contractor for some of the coding. In addition to project management, it is
expected that you will perform some of the coding yourself. You will be
responsible for working with users to gather requirements, developing a
design, creating a project schedule, and tracking project progress. As
Junior Project Leader you must genuinely want to lead and develop projects,
and have the self-confidence and dedication to see them through. As Senior
Programmer you will be challenged to state the vision for the future
direction of technology within the group as well as to introduce new
technologies.
Minimum Qualifications:
5+ years programming experience, 1+ year project management experience.
Strong SAS experience required along with a well-rounded exposure to general
programming and software development techniques. Previous database
application programming very helpful, along with SQL, Sybase, or
data-warehousing. Interest in global quantitative finance a strong
plus.Development experience on Windows NT would be useful. Experience on a
VAX and knowledge of DCL, FORTRAN, Unix also useful.
