| Subject: | Need of advice for National Characters in an International
Database |
|---|
Hi,
working in an international medical oriented association
it is my first time to deal with an international database
which contains names from many different countries:
all the european west and east, and many mediteranean too.
(turkish for example)
An example:
I have an DBF file from hungary. When I modify
the wincharset option to OEM the file is converted correctly
but since I work in ANSI mode for the rest of my patients this
'temporary' conversion is of no use. I will have always one
language which is not presented correctly.
How can I make Danish Norvegian German and Hungarian
first and last names coexist in the SAME database ?
Thank you in advance for your help
Nick
