Subject: Need of advice for National Characters in an International
              Database

Hi,

working in an international medical oriented association it is my first time to deal with an international database which contains names from many different countries: all the european west and east, and many mediteranean too. (turkish for example)

An example: I have an DBF file from hungary. When I modify the wincharset option to OEM the file is converted correctly but since I work in ANSI mode for the rest of my patients this 'temporary' conversion is of no use. I will have always one language which is not presented correctly.

How can I make Danish Norvegian German and Hungarian first and last names coexist in the SAME database ?

Thank you in advance for your help

Nick
