If the design fitted is equivalent to a full factorial, you're asking for
14,430 parameters, about half of which are of course redundant and aliased
to 0, but it's still building a design matrix with those columns (there
would be 7776 nonredundant parameters). You should consider the design
carefully and see about cutting down the size.

When I used VARCOMP with a 4 level partially nested design (
36(2(9))*12) in SPSS Win 7.5, it refused to process my commnad.
Has my
command exceeded SPSS capacity? Any suggested solution? Comments
