Subject:   Q: Two set statements instead of merge
Content-Type:   text/plain

I have not used two set statements to essentially create a merge. The person who suggested this to me called it indexing. Could you explain how it works and when it is appropriate? Please give an example.

Thanks in advance,

Elizabeth Alexander
