Subject: Textbook for Survival Analysis
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

I need to use proportional hazard regression modeling in my project. I am not familiar with survival analysis , but I am an expert on Probit and Tobit modeling and have uses LIFEREG procedure before. Is there anybody know there is a good and comprehensive textbook for survival analysis? I am not a theory guy. So, a practical textbook and a little theory is my preference. By the way, do I need to write very complicated SAS code for proportional hazard regression modeling? There are couple of SAS books for survival analysis. I am still hesitated whether I need one or I could learn it through "Help Files" which are integrated in SAS. Any suggestion will be highly appreciated.
