Subject:   Version 9.0 merge data saves become hieroglyphics
Content-type:   text/plain; charset=US-ASCII

We are trying to store data (5000 by 12 variables) in a merged set by student pin numbers. We can pull the information together and it looks great on the screen. As soon as we save it to our network drive, we get odd symbols in data fields (that were not there previously!) We've spent several hours trying to do and redo this and hope there may be someone out there with some information that may help us. We are using version 9.0. I have not had this problem before with 9.0, so am really stumped. Any help would be appreciated.
