Subject: Confidence Intervals & Log Trans.
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"

Hello,

I'm currently working with someone that would like to generate confidence intervals for correlations. Is there a way to do this in SPSS? We have seen the confidence interval options in other procedures, such as regression analysis, but nothing of the sort for correlation. Also, this individual would like to perform a log transformation on her data; however, she doesn't want to go through the Curve Estimation prodecure. Is something like this possible? Could this be done using Compute under the Transform menu? Thank you in advance.

Michael Mallen
