I am assuming you mean how do you do this if you have 2 separate files with different data. Correct? Otherwise just use a disk and pass it back and forth (making backups). There should be a merge or join command available to do this for you (I have not done this using SPSS as I use it for only selected things). Someone will provide the exact command I am sure. Otherwise export to Excel format and use Excel to merge them. I usually do this type of thing with SYSTAT, which has the merge and append commands.
