Su Yeong Kim and G. Marc Turner,

I think you should do the following to get rid of your problem.

After opening spss, Edit --> Options --> Scripts. If the box to left of the line 'Table_Correlations_Table_Create is checked, uncheck it. Click Apply, then Close or OK which ever it is. Restart spss.

I had this problem and that's what i got from either here or Tech Support.

Now, let me add my own question to this. If you look at the actual script file, it seems to me that there are some lines in there that a) change the correlation matrix from full to either lower or upper diagnol, b) add the significance levels, as indicated by stars, to the correlation value, and c) some other things which i forget right now. What i'd like to know is how to modify that script so that my correlations always show the star denoted significance level for the full correlation matrix. (I'm sorry but i can't resist pointing out that in 6.1 this was done automatically. How this deletion is an improvement is beyond me.)

Any takers? I know that some of the European subscribers are very conversant with script writing. Could you advise me?

Thanks in advance, Gene Maguin
