Subject: RM ANCOVA
I have a question regarding a 2 x2 Repeated Measures (on the second factor)
ANCOVA printout on SPSS 8.0 for Windows. My within-subjects factor (2
levels) is appearing in an interaction with my covariate in the "Test of
Within Subjects Factos" table. I am guessing that this interaction (although
non-significant) is a test of the second assumption of covariance; that is,
a covariate must effect all levels of a DV identically (homegeneity of
regression). If I am right, then printing a within-subjects x covariate
interaction, SPSS is providing a quick, easy to use test of that assumption.
Let me know what you think. Thanks in advance Bob Johnson Graduate Student
