____________
(1) The SAS/Warehouse Administrator is a component of the SAS Data
Warehousing solution. SAS/Warehouse Administrator is a customizable tool
that offers a single point of control, making it easier to respond to
the ever-changing needs of the business community. It does this by
creating a new corporate asset called metadata, which documents all the
processes involved in deploying your data warehouse. The demonstration
will show the creation and management of data warehouse processes, with
an emphasis on web exploration of metadata.
(2) While SAS dates are Y2K compliant, there are external issues that
come up regarding SAS programs related to either input parms or display
of date fields in reports. Dennis will share some of his Y2K experiences
and moderate a discussion with those who want to share their
experiences.
(3) A system developed by Cytera Systems using WebSuite and the SAS
System will be demonstrated. WebSuite can easily integrate with a wide
variety of systems, and is ideally suited for leveraging the power of
SAS in a decision support environment.
