Subject: GET FILE problem
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"

Fellow users,

I'm currently having a problem with the GET FILE command. A collegue has specified many variables labels, columns, etc. and wants to apply this to a data file. However, this is no data in the file as of yet. We were getting a File Not Found error and tried to remedy this situation by entering one case of data but our error message did not change. Basically, we would like to apply these labels and specifications to new data. What is the best way to go about this. My collegue has looked into the GET FILE and DATA LIST FILE commands but can't seem to run these effectively. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance!
