Dear SAS-L,
I am not sure whether this problem is a bug with the Proc Datasource
procedure or that I missed something. Anyway, here is the story.
I use Proc Datasource to read the IMF BOPSP file (balance of payments
statistics, packed format, ebcdic file). Everything is fine except that for
all the variables, there is no decimal point for the values. Where the
outall= file shows there should be decimal points with some variables,
their values are however mere integers. I could not help thinking that this
procedure might be quite 'dangerous' to use if it were a problem with the
program. Otherwise, I would be happy if somebody could point out that I am
wrong.
Thanks for any help.
Best,
Quan
