I am new to the list serve and have not yet figured out the procedures for searching the archives so am writing to the list instead.  I am looking for someone who is using the multidimensional scaling programs in version 8,  Are any of the techniques equivalent to Smallest Space Analysis?  Can the difference be explained to a novice? Thanks
