Marc,
You know, some time the simplest questions are right on target. Boy is my
face red!
I thought we had double-checked the scoring of items again and I thought it
was in the "appropriate" direction (i.e., 1="not at all true of me,"
5="almost always true"). But, following your email, I went back and pulled
the original protocols and guess what? The scoring is exactly the opposite.
I think I'd better double check the syntax programs and make sure nothing
else is amiss.
Oh well, this hasn't been the most productive day. (big sigh).
Thanks so much for your response. Maybe I'll just take a nap and start fresh
tomorrow!
