Hello,

   On one of my machines, I am having a problem installing SPSS 9.0 for
WinNT.  I used to have SPSS 7.5 but I could not run the uninstallation
program.  Also, the installation for 9.0 will not run properly and "dies"
during the Installation Wizard.  I looked through your website and thought I
might be missing one of the following files:

 c:\windows\system\netapi32.dll      4KB  version 4.00.950
 c:\windows\system\mpr.dll          40KB  version 4.00.950
 c:\windows\system\wsock32.dll      65KB  version 4.00.950

   I have versions of these files in c:\winnt\system32, but they are
not the same size as above.  I got these files from another machine
and loaded them into c:\windows\system.  I loaded the new drivers into a
windows\system directory but the install program would not work.  I now get
an error message that reads:


        ISSET_SE caused a stack fault in module  USER.EXE 0001:431B

  Is this a problem that can be corrected?  I suspect that the problems may
be Windows related but I hope I don't need to reinstall WinNT.  Any help
would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you!
