Dear Friends and Colleagues:
In November of 1997, Margo S. Prade, M.D. was brutally murdered outside of her medical office. Her ex-husband, a police captain, was convicted in September of 1998 following a trial which revealed that the murder was the culmination of many years of domestic violence. Since the murder, there has been much impersonal and inconsiderate sensationalism as reflected in rumors and media rehashing. This weekend, a major cable station has chosen to present, against the explicit wishes of Dr. Prade's family, some of the forensic evidence. We are providing a human perspective of Dr. Prade through a memorial website at http://www.en.com/abackans/msprademd2.html
