I've been reading B. Byrne's Structural Equation Modeling with LISREL, etc.. (LEA,
'98) It's fairly basic and has the code for many types of problems in LISREL. You
could just borrow her code. I believe she has a similar one for EQS.
"Multivariate Data Analysis" by Hair (prentice-hall, 97), et.al. has an easy to
understand couple of chapters on SEM. You may not need a book if you are using
AMOS or the latest LISREL. Both have tried to reduce the implementation of SEM to
variable dragging and dropping. james watts
