Machelle,

My advice is to skip V7 and wait for the production release of V8 which is promised to be in January 2000.

V8 has PROC NLMIXED, which can be used to fit some types of Bayesian models, as far as I can see, although none of the examples in the documentation mention this.

I'm currently running 6.12 with all the TS add-ons on an NT system. I have 2 questions...

1) Has anyone upgraded to 7 only to dump it and go to 8? If so, why?

2) My second question is : Does anyone know if version 8 has more in the way of Bayesian analysis or propensity scores ?

Thanks

Machelle Wilchesky
