Fulltime, permanent SAS position at corporate headquarters of American Honda Motor Co., Inc., in the South Bay area of Los Angeles. Design, develop and implement SAS applications in UNIX environment. Experience with the SAS product, including strong AF/FRAME systems development with solid understanding of SCL and SAS/GRAPH. Requires sound abilities in SAS programming: Macros, Base Language, Procedures, and Functions, report writing. Knowledge of SQL, FSP, SHARE, CONNECT a plus. RS6000/UNIX experience highly desirable; minor amount of mainframe (TSO) and PC processing required. Experience with Internet applications development a plus. MS WORD and EXCEL skills beneficial; MS/ACCESS skills a plus. Statistics background a plus.

Bachelor's Degree highly desirable. Minimum 3-5 years of SAS development experience, preferably in a user-oriented environment. Systems analysis and systems design experience preferred. Ability to handle multiple projects individually or within a group. Excellent communications skills essential. January start date desired.
