The "vacation" program is a commonly used autoresponder, though it is not
the only one. "Precedence:" will show up as one of the mail header
records (your mailer may or may not display it), and in this sense is not
unlike the mail headers "To:", "From:", "Subject:" and such. Mail admins
using "vacation" may have problems unless they have other ways to
recognize mail from mail lists.
