This question come up most often when listowners find people replying to a posting to the whole list, when the reply more appropriately should have gone to the sender of the original message.

Listserv inserts a Reply-To: line in each list posting, depending on the setting of the list header:

UGA lists are created with the default setting

Reply-to= List,Respect

set Reply-To: pointing to the list, but if sender specifies his own reply-to, use that instead

Reply-to= Sender,Ignore

set Reply-To: pointing to the poster, and ignore any reply-to he specified.

Reply-to= None

no reply-to line is included
