• Not created by default: you need to specify that you want archives when you request a list. If you request archives for an existing list using the following form, only new posts to the list will appear in the archives.
• If a list is created with archives, they are automatically web-enabled. However, there are some lists created long ago that do have archives, but those archives are not web-accessible (when the web interface was made available, we left it up to the list owners whether they wanted their archives web-enabled). You can also use the following form to request that these archives be web-enabled.
