Hello -

On the LizardTech website you can see a photomosaic of Paris. This aerial
photograph was originally a 7.8Gb collection of individual images and was reduced
to a single 333Mb MrSID image. It has fantastic detail and displays quickly.

Go to: http://www.lizardtech.com/mis/client and key in: paris-cr

Let me know if you have any questions.

Kevin

MAPS-L FOLK:

Patron here at UT (the first UT - not Texas) is looking for recent
(since 1995) detailed (large scale (like 1:500 architectural drawings)
with contours, buildings, etc. of a specific area of Paris, France.
That area is Parc de Bercy on the north side of the Seine. This area
has undergone major changes over the past few years. Streets in the
area are: Bd. de Bercy, Rue de Bercy, Bd. Poniatowsky, and Quaire de la
Rape(')e. A new American Center is in the area as well.

You can direct any responses to me: Jim Minton

or to Barbara Klinkhammer, Professor of Architecture e-mail:

Thanks!

Jim Minton
Mapoteca

P.S. Could also use maps on south side of river as well - location in
and around the National Library.
