Subject: Carved wooden maps
Sender: David Peasley <[log in to unmask]>

Hi all,

I'm relatively new to this list (I've been subscribed for about a month
now), and I have really enjoyed reading the posts, having a long
standing interest in cartography. The reason I'm posting is that I have
developed a software package and a process where I download topological
data (usually USGS DEM's) and create a control file to run a CNC router,
and then carve the map in wood. Anyway, I thought there might be some
interest here. If you'd like to see what I'm doing, please visit my web
site at http://www.peasley.com

Thanks very much,

David Peasley
