I'm the Program Coordinator for this fall's annual conference of the
North American Cartographic Information Society.  Though the proposal
deadline was last week, I can still find room on the program for
sessions of interest.  I'd especially like to encourage proposals of
primary interest to map librarians and those dealing with historical
cartography, but virtually any topic of interest to mapmakers and map
users is welcome.  Standard sessions include 15-minute presentations,
but ideas for half-day workshops and innovative conference events are
also welcome. Send proposals to [log in to unmask] and please do so in
the next week.

The conference will be held October 12-15 in Salt Lake City.  More
information will be available at http://www.nacis.org
