Hello, The following information is from Antique Map Price Record Vol.
18 (CD-ROM) available from: www.MapRecord.com Although designed as a
resource for checking antique map prices, it is an invaluable source for
research, as this case may prove if indeed this is the correct map.
Map-Maker: MALLET Title: Asie Ancienne Date: 1683 Information: Panorama
below. Size: 15 x 11 cm. (6 x 4½ in.) [HxW] Region: Asia: (All) AMPR
volume: 1994 Hope this helps. Also take a look at this web site,
http://www.jalfranks.btinternet.co.uk/asia.htm the second item listed
is: MAL091 Asia MALLET, Alain. Asie Ancienne. Paris, c.1683. 150 x
110mm. Coloured. (there is a button to click to see an image of the
map). I found it using a google search on "Asie Ancienne" AND mallet
Cheers,
