Carlos,
Try the NCDC's "Locate Weather Observation Station Record" website. It will at least provide elevations for the airports

I am hoping the folks in MAPS-L can help me with an inquiry that I have.

I have a professor who is looking for elevation information for world cities and airports. The first place I went to was the GeoNet database at: http://gnswww.nga.mil/geonames/GNS/index.jsp but the data they have doesn't include elevation information and I had great difficulty finding airports even though there is a selection for that kind of search on the page.

The Getty Thesaurus of Geographic Names didn't have elevation information as well.

Any help you can give me would be most appreciated.
