For those of you who might have seen this on OLAC-L a bit ago I apologize
for the cross-posting.

Good afternoon everyone!

Well, I received PR to pass out to folks about the ALCTS Preconference at
the upcoming ALA Annual Conference in June in New Orleans, which is a 1.5
day workshop on cataloging cartographic materials. When you go to the
following link there is a full description of the workshop content:

-- the first full day is devoted to basic map cataloging, the second
half-day is focused on digital cartographic materials. Instructors are
Susan Moore, Mary Lynette Larsgaard, and myself.

The registration information on the website is confusing, at best, to me,

So ­it looks like for our 1.5 day Pre-Conf it would be $195 (Thursday all
day) + $99 for Friday for a grand total of $294.
