Hi, folks -

Eric Wolf, one of the guys who worked on development of the ARPANet
which was the precursor to the Internet, died several weeks ago of a
brain tumor. I don't know whether any of you ever met him but he had a
gigantic avocational interest in cartography, in spite of the fact that
he was an electrical engineer by training. My view is that he was a
hugely cool guy.

RIP Eric.
