Hello Joan,
  We purchased a "Porta-Trace Portable Light Table" from Forestry
Suppliers in 2002. It looks fine to me, although these aren't exactly a
glamorous item.  It's an advantage that we can store it on its side in a
gap approx. 4 inches wide between a map case and a table, completely out
of the way when it's not in use.
  We purchased it from Forestry Suppliers, Inc. Go to
http://www.forestry-suppliers.com/
and search on item 49216.  They come in many sizes, and there's also a
fancier model that comes with a stand.
