Dear Colleagues,



In conjunction with the U.S. Federal Geographic Data Committee (FGDC),
the University of Wyoming Department of Geography and Wyoming Geographic
Information Science Center (WyGISC) are conducting a research survey
related to a variety of spatial data infrastructure concepts. We wish to
invite you to participate in this FGDC funded research effort.



The results of this survey will be used to evaluate issues regarding the
use, adoption and development of spatial data infrastructure concepts
for teaching and research. We hope that you would be willing to complete
the survey to assist us and the FGDC in better understanding how spatial
data infrastructures are used by the geographic information science and
technology community.



This survey is voluntary and we are not aware of any risks to you if you
decide to participate. The survey should take approximately twenty five
minutes to complete. Basic identifying information (e.g., email address,
location) will be collected, but this information will only be used to
manage multiple responses and, by request, to report the summary results
to survey respondents. No individual identifying information will be
included in any reporting or representation of the overall results. We
guarantee that your responses will not be identified with you personally
and that access to personally identifying information will be limited
solely to the project investigators.

Institutional Review Board at the University of Wyoming.
