Have you tried searching for "illuminated directories" or "lighted
directories"?

  here is a question
  you've seen those maps that when you push the button they light up to
show you the trails?  could be a subway system map, or a tourist site
map...   Do those things have a specific name?  lighted map display--in
one word?
