Apologies for cross-posting

Dear colleagues

I am delighted to announce that the Map Curators' Group Special Issue
(volume 42, number 3) of The Cartographic Journal (The Journal of the
British Cartographic Society) has now been published - my copy arrived
yesterday.

The entire issue is devoted to map librarianship. The table of contents is
copied below and the editors (April Carlucci, Nick Millea and myself) hope
that you will find the articles of interest and long-lasting value.

The Journal is provided free to members of the British Cartographic
Society. If you are not a member your local map library might have a copy.
If you are in the UK check out
http://www.cartography.org.uk/Pages/Publicat/Ukdir/index.html to see if
there is one near you!

Further information about the Society can be found at:
http://www.cartography.org.uk/index.html The Map Curators' Group web pages
are at: http://www.cartography.org.uk/Pages/Membership/Curators/index.html
