HIGH RESOLUTION LARGE FORMAT FLATBED SCANNER - FOR SALE RIGHT NOW.  Contex/Ideal CopyMate G18 Color Flatbed Scanner (up to 9600 dpi) (ethernet and USB interface) was delivered last September 2007, fewer than 100 scans have been made on this equipment, it has a 2 year on-site warranty and comes with SCP Easy Scan Scanner Interface software that's easy to install.  Purchase price new was $8600; it is the newest equipment from the Danish company Contex, and thus the pulley-system defect was corrected in the new equipment so there are no problems with that as there seemingly was in equipment manufactured prior to mid-2007.  My ask price is $7200 plus shipping. Size of equipment is 24 x 52 x 10 inches.   Location of equipment is San Francisco and it can be demo-ed there. Please contact Barbara Keck quickly before I ship it back to the dealer ... would much prefer a map person to have this equipment for archiving-your-collection purchases .
