I think this is an excellent point for CUAC to raise at our annual meeting with the agencies/GPO.  We would appreciate any statistics the group can provide on GPO maps for the year.

Dawn -- would you be willing to synthesize data you are sent on the topic?

Dear Maps colleagues, and especially you Government Document types;

I would like to check my GPO map stats for the semester - they seem low
(someone else in Government Documents at our library keeps them). We
receive 100% of GPO maps. Here is what our stat keeper provides for June
- December 2006.

* Topo Maps.............. 208*

* *

* "Other" Maps (CIA, etc.)....... 43*

* *

* Nautical Charts............ 80*

* *

* Coast & Geodetic Charts....... 5*

* *

* Aeronautical Charts.......... 114*

It seems low. If anyone else out there receives 100% of GPO maps and
could send me whatever stats they have for 2006 in whatever form, I
would appreciate it very much. Also, can someone tell me if there is an
easy way to check these numbers online? Thank you.
