*MAGERT's Map Collection Management Discussion Group* will meet at ALA
Mid-Winter:
        Sunday January 21,  4-6pm
        Washington State Convention and Trade Center, Room 3A

The meeting will be a combination of business of the Discussion Group
and the Task Force on Library Security for Cartographic Materials:
_1st hour
_1.  discussion group - update of description (given now combined with
small maps collection) 2.  task force update overview  (conference
program and guidelines) 3.  Smiley trial update 4.  implications from
the Smiley - how to learn and share from this experience (open
discussion)

_2nd hour  (Task Force on Library Security for Cartographic Materials
and others who want to contribute) _1.  Conference program details -
panelists, topics to cover, publicity, etc. (Jan Dixon) 2.  Guidelines -
goal of document, responses to Jenny's draft, assignments (Jenny
Johnson)
