Subject: Needed: topo map index showing underlying quads for 15' sheets

Hi everyone!

I'm so sure that this is out there "somewhere" but I have been
unsuccessful in finding it! So, now I turn to the many experts on
MAPS-L for assistance. Here's what is going on and what I'm looking for.

We are having all of our historic Pennsylvania 15-minute topo quads
scanned in anticipation of putting them up on the Web as a resource
in the near future. What I am trying to find is an index map to the
PA 15-minute quads that also shows the underlying four 7.5-minute
topos that make up each individual 15' quad, by name. We feel that
this would be a very useful additional resource to users of the
online 15-minute sheets and we might possibly create an interactive
index from one layer to the other for our patrons.

Does anyone know where I can find such a thing? At this point even if
its hardcopy in nature and we can scan that as a starting point that
would definitely be helpful (assuming that there isn't any copyright
issues involved).

Sincerely,

Paige Andrew
