Subject: 20th century map scans of thailand needed

Hi everyone,

I hav three requested fo scans of maps of Thailand:

1) Does anyone have scans of 250k maps or similar for southern Thailand?
Berkeley has AMS series L509 from the late 1950s/early 1960s, but their
online coverage ends at 9 deg N.
I am looking for any scanned map coverage south of this at about 250k
scale. Older sheets are preferable (AMS series L509!) but anything is ok.

AMS series L509 Thailand
sheets needed: NB47-2, -3. -7, -8, -12 and possibly NB 48-5 if it exists.

2) I am also seeking a scan of AMS U542 or JOG 250k sheet NF47-14
(Burma/Thai/Lao border)which is also missing from the Berkeley's online
maps.

3) Does anyone have any map at any scale showing the *second* Japanese
death railway from Thailand towards Burma?
the famous death railway of River Kwai fame linked Kanchanaburi in Siam
with the Burmese system near Moulmein.
But there as a second line from near Chumphon on the Kra isthmus across
the spine of the isthmus to Kraburi (c.99d E, 10d30m N). The AMS series
L509 sheet NC47-7 Chumphon shows the *eastern* end of this, but the Kra
Buri sheet NC47-6 does not show the western half.
I understand the railway existed briefly in the mid 1940s but was
rapidly removed/destroyed post-war for some reason. Any map that shows
it's alignment and terminus west of 99dE would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

Brendan
