Brendan,

I quickly checked our set and we have 13 sheets total. I didn't compare
it against other sets but here is what we have at 1:1M:

Carte de L'Indochine, Service Geographique de l'Indochine 1:1,000,000

Sheet number, title and date(s)

4 Muon Sing 1929
5 Hanoi 1929, 1938
6 Moncay 1929, 1938
8 Vientiane 1937, 1938
9 Hai Nan 1927
10 Moul Mein 1929
11 Savannakhet 1927, 1938
12 Hue 1929
13 Bang Kok 1929
14 Pinom Penh 1937, 1938
15 Dalat 1938
16 Kra 1929
18 Saigon 1929, 1938

University of California Berkeley has a record in World Cat that
indicates there are 18 sheets for a 1927 edition.

Does anyone hold the French series "Carte de l'Indochine", 1:1,000,000, from the 1920s/30s?

I am trying to work out the extent of the series.

We have sheets 4 and 6 only, covering parts of north Vietnam, but the index diagrams on the sheets only show the immediately surrounding sheets.

I presume the series cover more than just 9 sheets, and is probably 15 or 18 sheets.

Can anyone confirm the number of sheets, series extent or have an index?

There appears no relationship with the same titled series at 1:500,000: that is, the 1:500,000 series is not simply quartersheets of the 1:1,000,000 series.

Thanks
